The Full Stack Engineer will optimize end-to-end request flows within Salesforce Commerce Cloud, refactor APIs, implement caching strategies, and enhance CI/CD pipelines. This role bridges front-end and back-end performance improvements and supports scalable, secure integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Profile and optimize full request flow (browser to DB) within Salesforce Commerce Cloud

• Refactor APIs to reduce latency and payload size

• Implement server-side caching strategies

• Optimize database interactions and background processing

• Collaborate with frontend engineers on API design

• Enhance CI/CD with performance testing and budgets

• Instrument code with APM and structured logging

• Implement feature flags and graceful degradation

• Optimize SSR and edge functions for TTFB

• Ensure resilient third-party integrations

• Pair with DevOps on infrastructure scaling

• Conduct code reviews across the stack

• Maintain environment parity via IaC or containers

• Support QA with test data and synthetic flows

• Document decisions and present performance gains

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field

• Experience in full stack development and optimization within Salesforce Commerce Cloud

• Strong front-end and back-end technical skills

• Familiarity with CI/CD and observability tools

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
