DATA ENGINEER LEAD
DATA ENGINEER
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Engineering Lead with a minimum of 8 years of experience in modern data engineering, data warehousing, and data lake technologies on the Azure cloud platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage stakeholders, design scalable solutions, and lead development efforts across data platforms.
Responsibilities
· Advanced proficiency in Python, PySpark, and SQL.
· Deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud Services, including Azure DevOps and CI/CD deployments.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience with modern data warehousing tools such as Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, Amazon Redshift, Snowflake, or Google BigQuery.
· At least 12 years of experience in SQL, schema design, and dimensional data modeling.
· Strong experience with Databricks (preferred but not mandatory).
· Experience with ETL/ELT tools like Azure Data Factory (ADF), Informatica, or Talend.
· Familiarity with Medallion Architecture for data management.
· Proficiency with Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure Blob Storage.
· Minimum of 2 years of experience with Power BI.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience with reporting/visualization tools such as Tableau, OBIEE, etc.
· Proven experience in cloud migration methodologies and processes.
· Ability to lead development teams, manage project timelines, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
Required Certifications or Courses
· Certifications in Azure DevOps, Data Engineering on Azure, or related fields are highly desirable.
· Courses in CI/CD, Power BI, Cloud Migration, and Data Warehousing are a plus.
